Miss Addy Vice is the world's worst advice columnist. This is a retrospect of her "work" over the last six decades. In this book, you will see Addy miss the mark and the point time after time.
* A reader writes about her fear of her temperamental mother and is advised to tell her mother to get professional help... while wearing a hockey mask.
* A mother complains of her deadbeat son moving in, not looking for work and sleeping on her couch for over a year. Addy advises the mother to wake the son up.
* A young girl writes about the trauma of developing large breasts at an early age. Addy tells her to stop bragging.
A fast paced read that will keep you guessing letter after letter how Addy will muck up the advice and leave you laughing or groaning at her attempts to be clever or helpful.
A brief autobiography of Addy is included as well.
WARNING Some of the humor is dark and off color and may not appeal to all readers.

I'm drawn to advice columns like a magnet; when I was growing up, "Dear Abby" appeared on page 3 of our local paper. My mother and I always turned to that page first. No matter what was happening in the rest of the world on front page headlines, my mother and I had to see what advice Miss Abby was dispensing to the people in trouble. Assumed names (never call your boss "Courtney," BTW), pleas for anonymity, and general unneeded advice from well-meaning readers - Miss Addy has it all - and you will recognize them if you've perused these columns. Miss Addy's spot-on advice will have you laughing. Add in a 5-star cover as well, and this book is another winner from a very talented author.Product details

The Misadvice of Miss Addy Vice edition by Dwayne Fry Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
In my opinion, this book is incorrectly titled. I found Addy's advice to be spot on. Sure, some of it is knee-slapping funny. I was in the middle of swallowing a sip of water and reading earlier. When I turned the page and continued reading, I couldn't keep from laughing and spitting water all over myself. She's got the right idea. Life is short, have a sense of humor. Some of the people who write to her are just plain stupid, and she'd not afraid to tell them that. I admire her honesty. I could not be so brave.
To the person who lives on Brewer Road in Snokalamatee, Wisconsin, please stop letting your dog bark all night on the author's lawn. It's rude and irresponsible. How is Miss Addy supposed to get the rest she needs to read all the letters she receives requesting her sage advice? Ever think your dog is barking because he's cold and wants to come in the house, but is at the wrong house? You idiot!
Dear Miss Addy, If you publish another book and it contains a letter from someone complaining about their grandfather dressing in drag, please let me know. It was a pleasure reading a compilation of your work.
Seriously, this book did have me laughing out loud and I did choke on my water. It's a funny and fast read. I really enjoyed it.
Seems like I've been following Miss Addy Vice since the late 1900's. I feel it is fitting to write a review to advise people to buy this book based only having read parts of it. Not that that is bad advice. Not all of Addy's advice is inherently bad. It just wouldn't make sense for me to read it cover to cover before reviewing since it is an ebook and doesn't have covers.
